Due to the long winter last year I still had one empty row in my woodshed after cutting up the tandem load of logs last month, so I went out and cut a few dead trees along the road allowance near my driveway. I got some ash and elm. The elm on top was still green but most of the branches were bare and it probably wasn't going to leaf out at all next year. I got half the empty row filled on the left side so that's good.
