    What a great idea! Better than fussing about with scooping them out, mixing a filling and re-filling them. I will have to try that soon.

    Genius! You're becoming a dominating, unstoppable force in the Smokehouse Savemoney. I'm assuming this method would work just fine for russets as well? I've got a ten lb bag (for .99 cents!) that I need to start working down. Thanks for the great ideas.:handshake:

    I'll have to dig up the smashed red potato salad with bacon we tried a few years back - it was awesome but probably increased my chances of a quadruple bypass by a few weeks

    Save - being from Maine have you ever had Salted red baby potatoes? I always loved them too
