Went out today and found a Cherry that got broken off/knocked down by a Maple that broke off and fell on it! Took me 5 hours to sort that mess out and bring it all home. Had to split some of the trunk rounds (approx 22" dia each) in quarters to get it into the truck but it was worth it.

Probably be the last time I get in the woods this season. Work is crazy hours right now shipping honey bees to Florida. I'll be leaving in December for Winter in Florida too. Plenty of wood to keep my 'Pop warm this winter though!

It was dark by the time I got home. I'll post a pic tomorrow morning. Total haul was about a cord.

I get a face cord in my truck. Took three trips. Last trip was packed tight and I also filed the passenger floor board and seat!

The bees are not mine. I work for an Apiary. They are shipped via Semis with flat beds. About 480 hives at a time. Takes more than a couple trips.

While I may be in Florida for winter, it sure isn't a vacation. I work outside all day every day. I don't like heat. I'm a cold weather guy born and raised. It's 43* this morning and feels beautiful. 80* is hell to me!!!
