Actually had to pull them both over. Couple leaners at my friends he asked me to take down. Tied off first one, made the cuts and i went and helped him pull it down. 13" DBH. Limbed and bucked. IMG_2955.JPG IMG_2956.JPG IMG_2957.JPG IMG_2958.JPG IMG_2959.JPG IMG_2960.JPG Repeat for second tree, but i couldnt help him pull it over as 10" DBH tree and heavier lean. It starts on its way and he lets up. It goes diagonal to intended target. His grand kids playscape nicked by the top limbs. :emb: IMG_2961.JPG IMG_2962.JPG IMG_2963.JPG IMG_2964.JPG IMG_2965.JPG IMG_2966.JPG IMG_2967.JPG View attachment 375982 Just over a half cord for both trees. We're both taking the wood.

    Thanks. :handshake:

Ive been liking the Humbolt notch more and more. Plunge cut the diagonal first. The first tree he wanted me to drop between the playscape and deck in a 20' space. I refused. I could've but why take the chance.

He called the second tree an "UBE" felling...Ugly, But Effective. Told him it reminded me of an ex GF!

Missed the house, so all's good. Now put some of that hard earned money into a good winch, that's winch, not wench, and you won't have those issues.

I already have a wench  so maybe a winch. Thought of using the come-a-long, but not enough rope.

If it was a big tree i wouldve rented a cherry picker.
