Been cutting some dead standing trees on the neighbor ladies property. She is by her self except for her 27 year old grandson who isn't much help.

I have been C/S/S half of what I cut for her. Been side stepping this nasty ole post oak as it has been dead a few years and full of widow makers.

Today was the day. With the husqvarna 562xp topped off with fresh fuel and bar oil it was time to put it on the ground.

Picked my fall zone, made sure I had a good safe work area around it, and all went as planned.

Nice work! Good to get that tree down before one of those widow makers falls on somebody.
Any estimate on the volume of wood?:sherlock:

Looks to be some serious wood to bet had from it, near 20" ?
The stump would heat the house for 2 days :)

Yeah it was an accident waiting to happen. No estimate on volume other than lots.

Neighbor up the road was outside and heard it hit the ground. Said it was a heck of a this thump.

Already bucked and split a little. Was running out of day light, so no pictures.
