We all get some strange looks for obsessing about our woodstacks. Now that it's super cold, I'm glad I did. Going to pick up another truckload of seasoned splits being given away for free. I am not 3 years ahead, but I'm set for this winter no matter how cold winter is.

I grab anything that is clean and burns. It is all btu's. My buddy at work is new to wood burning so we are dividing any scores we come across. We had some storm damaged oak and pine at work a few weeks ago, some sugar maple rounds last week, and construction cut-offs this week. He now has the "sickness".

As he feels radiant heat when cold outside, that sickness will grow...
