Hello This toilet is less than 2 years old from Home Depot and the flush lever completely rotted off and the chain fell to the bottom of the tanks! Has anyone else had this problem??? The man at Home Depot said they do not make parts for it and the inspectors in Mass will not pass them in a new bath build because of that!!! So he suggested to buy the Everbuilt replacement lever and bend the shaft or get a new toilet!!! So I bent the shaft and it works! It may even last longer! I agree about the water. However, the water here comes from Canobie Lake and is treated so it is pretty clean and few minerals. I put in a whole house water filter years ago and it did not do much so I took it out. That is the only flush lever that I ever had that wore out and in less than 2 years is just deplorable!!!
Seems like I'm always fixing toilets. I quit buying the metal arms, even the replacements don't seem to last. The last one I bought was plastic. Except for the short shaft connecting the arm to the chrome plated plastic lever.
I had one unit that flush mech. went south. Think I replaced 7 those parts times after that , finally just replaced the whole unit - been trouble free for 6 years
