    Mentioning skyrocketing inflation and facing potential nuclear war, a friend sent me a meme this morning because I often say I might just chuck it all and go be a river rat. The meme was a guy sitting on a log with a cup of coffee 'listening' to a squirrel next to him and it said "The older I get, the more I understand why people live in the woods and talk to squirrels."

    That's me.

    In lieu of riverratdom, I go split some wood lately three or four times a day to retain sanity.
