Generac seems to me they were using Briggs eng. I know they lost a huge account due to reliability issues on the Briggs part.
Engine is labeled Generac...But I đon't know who made it. Can't complain, it lasted 13 years and if my WIFE would have checked the oil, it would most likely still be working!
I have taught my wife numerous times which mix to put in the leaf blower. Came home one day to the straight gas can next to the blower . Good thing she hadn't used it yet. Grabbed the trufuel from the shelf and said this can is the only can you need to know how to use. This could of been like throwing 200 dollars in the garbage.
Doesn't it have a low oil sensor that turns off the engine ?? I had a 22kw Generac installed in Oct 2015, I think the engine is now made by Generac. This one does have a low oil switch.
I was gonna say, those had a Murphy switch installed that should have killed the engine should it ever lose oil pressure. And those 12kW units had an actual Generac v-twin engine on them. Pain in the azz if you ever needed parts.
