Get a call from one of my tree guys yesterday. He says “I just dropped off 3 logs that are bigger than you normally take but it’s locust. Hope that’s ok.” I told him I will take any locust of any size. I go over today to do some things at moms and wow, I never knew locust could get so big! Hard to tell from the pics but I’d say 36”-40” in diameter. Yowza!

All locust usually gets sold. The wood boiler gets rid of garbage wood I can’t sell

The biggest one I've seen is this one

I didn't get to measure it, but I'm confident its 4.5'-5' at the base. There's several big ones similar to this where I work.

If I don't get a new saw, I will use my Echo 8000. Time will tell.
