    Almost a "No brainer"
the deposit might slow me down
Trust me or not, if they don't think my word is good enough, maybe they need to get some one else

Better would be " you have to take the pine first"

Perfect combo, pine for kindling and starting the fire and locust to keep it in, I'd be all over it like a rash :D

I like the sentiment of the ad. But I would show up and say, "I'm here, I will take everything (pine first if necessary), and we will have no need for any exchange of money"

I am with Bogydave. If you don't trust me we don't really need to do any business together. We each can find someone we trust.

agreed, if they can't trust me on the wood, how can I trust them on the $$? Take pine first or bring a trailer and take it all at once. It doesn't look like it would be much more than a pickup load

3rd pic down from the top looks like there's a VW bug on the other side of that block wall... Can you get that for a $100 bucks if it's in decent shape?
    I like both bugs.
As for the wood-pine first, no cash, locust 2nd....

I've had business' want to hold my driver's license or me have to make a deposit on some little thing and I call bull. I remember one time a friend wanted to hit some golf balls at a local course. They wanted my driver's license. I simply told them if they could not trust me with their golf clubs, I could not trust them with my driver's license. Pure bull. I would pass on the wood.

I would just show up with a big bar on and biggest trailer I could borrow and take it all. No problems

you must have a big truck, I am counting 18 rounds of pine and I am sure they are at least 24" in diameter and that locust dont look small either

I have seen people ask for a refundable deposit is the past, they are trying to stop people from taking the easy stuff first and never coming back for the difficult stuff

I may have it all wrong maybe they would like you to take the locust first as that is what's requiring the most work

I like furrin' cars, especially VW's and Audi's.

Heck I might get a vw gti in the next few months. I'll make sure to get the post cheating emissions scandal discount of course.;)

Yes, that is a bit more wood than a full size truck bed worth.

I'd talk with the guy, not really a need to hand over cash, talk with him I'm sure he's just looking to separate the cherry picking wood snobs from the guys and gals on this forum who would be glad to grab the pine first for some premium btus!

The pine is already cut to length. I'd take just the pine if that were the only thing there.
