Several months my local OPE dealer asked if I would like to demo an ECHO 2511T. He had just started carrying the Echo brand. I said sure, kept it a few weeks, cut lots of limb wood. 0325211932.jpg

After that, I told him I was bringing it back, he said he didn't need it right now.
My hunny said Father's Day is coming up, did I like that saw... I sure do...
She and our daughter were going in half to buy a new 1 for me, $400+...
I called my dealer and asked would he sell us the demo since I still had it and was about broken in...
He said he would and gave them a great deal...$290...
It has earned it's spot on the tree... 0512211417.jpg

Congrats, that’s a good deal for that saw. I’ve used one and liked it. My buddy prefers using it over the Stihl 150t.

It did bite me once, earned my respect.
Of course, I was being a bit careless. 10716.jpeg 10714.jpeg

Is that a top handle? I can’t quite tell the difference.
I really like hour saw tree. My two would probably take up less space in the shed like that.
Careful w those fingers. Glad you are ok.

To get the most out of these amazing little 2511T's, do a 1/4-.043 bar/chain conversion and a CAT bypass on the muffler. I'm telling ya, it REALLY makes that little saw shine.

I have one I modded like that most 2 years ago and it's become my go-to saw up in the tree. huskihl is going to be totally modding a new one for me soon, can't wait to get that one.....

Go to monkeybeaver.com, they have full 1/4" pitch Panther conversion kits and parts for these little tophandle saws.

If you need the muffler bypassed and ported, I can do that for ya....just let me know.

I think you know someone was looking out for you on that one. You will have more respect for it after that encounter. Glad you still have your finger.

I just got a new Stihl PM chain for it. How do you do the muffler mod?

Yes sir, HE was looking out for me, for sure. I hit the top of the bar as I was cutting off a small limb, glad it wasn't on the bottom of the bar with the saw weight coming down...
