Cut just a little bit of wood this afternoon. Sorry, no pictures but still working on that red oak top. One more time will probably clean it up.

Been having lots of company the last couple weeks so have spent more time away from the forum but I've still thought of you guys and gals. Happy to be back posting and Mrs is happy to get a break from all the cooking, baking and cleaning.

Our eldest son and his wife left around 6:00 this morning so should be just about home right about now. Wife said it was good that we were back to just the 2 of us and I agree. We like it this way but still enjoyed the company both weeks that we had some. I think this also means we'll get to spend Christmas alone!

Speaking of Christmas, we went to Bronner's last evening. What a place! For those who do not know, it is the World's largest Christmas store (in Frankenmuth, MI) and is open year around. Funny that as we were driving into the parking lot we wondered what their electric bill might be. Found out that the average electric bill per day is $1250. I can only imagine what it is during Christmas time. We bought a few things but one could spend many hundreds of dollars there without hardly trying.

Right where I want to be.
We were there a couple weeks ago, Dennis.
    Too bad we didn't coordinate.
We had a nice family dinner at Zehnders first, then drove down.
Lots of "stuff" in that store.

I think my parents feel like this after we've weeaked havoc at their place :)
If our house ever feels a bit pokey a sure fire fix is to have family come stop for a weekend (we only have 3 bedrooms), when they've gone and it's back to the four of us the house feels palatial!! :)

And it was our good pleasure to meet you and your beautiful bride too!

To see it at night is great but then to see it at night during Christmas is fantastic!

That would have been good Dave. We thought about going to Zehnders but didn't. Instead, we headed to Saginaw as my son and his wife had never seen the Saginaw Water Works all lit up. They do a nice job every year.
