I am offering an Olympyk 264 F De Luxe for sale that I picked up and do not need, this saw is in good shape and runs well. It is currently pushing 195+ pounds of compression on my gauge and if you have the grunt to pull it over will often start on the first pull. It is a 61 cc saw and currently has a 20" Oregon bar and junk safety chain on it. Below are the the small issues I have found with it:

    * One of the dog bolts is not original
    * The AV bolt near the carb needs a nut on it
    * The bar slot is not wide enough for the saw, I did widen it a bit with a file but would suggest getting the proper bar and a decent chain
    * The clutch cover has cracks in it, probably as a result of the wrong bar noted above
    * The chain brake is not functioning
    * There is a small piece missing from the top cover behind the starter handle

Asking $150 and the ride to your door. I accept PayPal, if you do it other than a gift be sure to make me whole. Below are some pictures, others are available on request.

If I dropped the price to $140 could I get any interest?

I'd never heard of Olympyk before, and I bet many others haven't either. Looks like it was a quality saw for its day, whenever that was. What is parts availability like?

Is it actually manufactured by Olympyk? Or is t rebranded and made by someone else?

The saw was manufactured by Olympyk. They used the name Olympic and Olympik as well. The various name were caused by trademark issues with the International Olympic Committee (the sports body). They later morphed to Oleo-Mac and are known today as Efco. The green John Deere CSxx series of saws are made by Efco. Parts are available if you look.

Look at the compression on this saw, price drop to $130 plus the ride to your door. If no takers at that price it will go one the shelf for GTG's.

Guido, I wish I could. This is one you don't hear much about. Looks good and I'm sure it runs good.

At 61 cc I would bet that it makes my beloved 036 run for help! :)

Always nice to see saws offered that are a bit apart from "mainstream".

No bump needed, this one is sold. However, you can bump the 017.
