    I first met Jed more than two decades ago. We never worked together, and I hadn't spoken to him in that amount of time, but his reputation grew as one of the best in the industry. Hearing of his passing struck a nerve that I haven't felt in some time. To everyone out there working in our field please be careful please be mindful. If this can happen to one of the best, it can happen to any of us. RIP Jed.
