Fog, fish and a trip to the ER

Just another day on the water right?

It was so foggy this morning we didn't even venture out of the inlet. We caught 2 big blues then my buddy caught his hand. We tried our best to get it out but couldn't so a trip to the er cut the morning a little short. Sorry no fish pics.

 

grew up on the water on Long Island, you know you need to push it thru and cut off the barb, right?

 

I see south Jersey under your avatar. What inlet did you stay in due to fog? Grandparents had a house in Beach Haven when I was growing up.

 

Yep! Someone forgot their pliers at home and we had nothing to cut it off .

We were in barnegat. Couldn't see other boats till they were right on top of us. Slowww and steady

 

I think your just trying to find out if fish feel pain! ouch, no fun there.

Yea I saw that! She was last tracked at the next inlet south of where we were. Definitely would've needed a change of underwear if she surfaced next to my boat..
