I have found it useful to have my X7 Hatchet close at hand when cutting wood. I had been sticking it in a log where I've been working, always just out of reach. Looking into ways to carry it on my belt, the only truly functional way is a holster to carry it upside down, like the real live loggers do with their axes. A Google search didn't reveal many options . There is one by Weaver that is well built but it's 2x what I paid for the X7. Instead, I went to the big blue box. There was a nylon single pocket belt tool pouch for $10. It's close to the perfect size for my hatchet. Being fabric and I keep the X7 sharp, a cheap way was needed to protect the "holster ". A clamp folded piece of polyethylene from a windshield fluid bottle was perfect! View attachment 378505 View attachment 378506 View attachment 378505 View attachment 378506
