Warm day here but I got to the wood lot to take down a hung up Alder with the new to me preowned Husqvarna 460 Rancher. I really thought I’d have to winch it down but was glad to get it on the ground with the first cuts. I really should have wrapped it with a chain before cutting it as the Alders are prone to split when under pressure. First impressions of the saw: It think it was running lean so I opened up the high side as far as the limiters allowed. I was surprised when I got to the woodlot, the saw cold started on the first pull after it had been sitting for a couple of hours. It’s not a speed demon but seems to have adequate torque. Still some hesitation from time to time when running at cutting speed. The chain was cutting well and isn’t the original chain that came on the saw. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He would Stihllll be saving for that haha. I just bought a modified exhausted on Ebay for my Husqvarna 350 for $13 I believe. It bypasses the cat/screen and from everything I've read, is a great boost with little money. I believe this exhaust also fits other models, give a look.
