Had a decent sized oak taken down in January. Had them leave the wood. Due to weather, classes, work and life in general today was the first time I could run the 500i.

Nice to get some saw time after an extended dry spell. That's a good sized tree Dave. What's the diameter?

Guessing 27-28 inches. Only a little wider than my 25 inch bar.

Glad you finally got some saw time in. Bet you like that saw. I haven't ran a 500 or 661 yet.
That's a nice oak you had taken down.
Hopefully the splitter will be ready soon.

I spent 10 years working 6hours on six hours off. Still have a hard time sleeping more than four hours at a time..
