It has been cold enough to have a fire for several days now. Tonight is going to see freezing or close to freezing temperatures. I took the baffles out of the stove today and gave the stove a good cleaning. I have a fire going now; it was hard to get the chimney to start drafting but with the outside temps dropping it has improved. My brother-in-law was unable to help with the chimney; he was going out of town to a swap and sell meet and ended up having to leave earlier than planned. Hopefully, this weekend or early next week will see the chimney height increased. Since I don't have to keep the chimney cold, I am going to enjoy a nice fire on these cold nights.
