First buyer hit me up today lol

Last year I sold several loads of wood.( NO MORE) A boy I work with hit me up for a load of wood for his mom and dad. Said hated to by a load so early but he says but you never can tell how early in the year it wold get cold. lol Now that is planing ahead lol but 1 worse than that another boy at work I was talking to as I was going in. I said got ya wood in yet? He said dang it no but I got a couple oaks I been trying to get time to cut just ant had time yet lmao ( good old boy though) He ask you rekon if I get m cut soon will they be ready to burn this year,

 

Yep, getting close enough to winter for the green burners to go cutting.

 

It's in bad taste to cut this year's firewood before Labor Day around here.

 

It's more like when time permits around this way. Time is so limited, I do it when I have some.
Although last February I was fortunate to collect 6 cords so I had no choice but to cut, buck and split.

 

What's the new "in" colors to wear cutting this year with those folks?

It's been Fall most of this Summer around here.

 

The action starts after 6. Friends coming over for some grilled food and then some firepit action.

Hoping this winter is snowmageddon... but not super cold. Summer here has been cool too.
