With the help of my beautiful wife I FINALLY got the rest of my Black Locust stacked! I think it's about 3/4 of a cord. If the rows were stacked straight up on both ends, they would be 9' long. They are 4' high, and an average of 16" splits. So 9 x 4 = 36 x 1.25 = 45 cu.ft. x 2 = 90 cu.ft. divided by 126 = .71 cord!
That is really great that you get to work with your wife. My wife and I worked together many, many years but sadly as we've aged a bit she can't do too much to help now. Besides, I simply will not allow her to stack the wood. She is terrible at that.
