Took a load of firewood to my cousin the other day who’s husband is struggling with Parkinson disease. Good guy, he has a sense of humor about it and never bitches. He is also the one who made me aware of FHC, and I joined this group shortly after. After stacking the wood for her on the porch, she said hey, “Kenny bought these years ago and we never use them, do you want them?”I never knew they existed, now my new favorite coffee mugs.
Sorry to hear about that… those coffee mugs where a one time gig from back in the original formulation days of FHC… I believe Pallet Pete set that up… I still have 2 out of 3 that I bought…
Truly collectors edition-display only stuff there! Good on you for taking care of them JDU...my sisters husband has it too...for quite some time now, early onset. She heats with wood too, we all pitch in and keep her supplied...she raised 5 kids almost by herself due to this disease, 6 if you include him some days.
Yes, I know what you mean. He fell and broke his hip and was coming home from the hospital the day I was there as my cousin asked if I could help get him in the house. It was painfull to for me to watch him take 10 minutes to get out of the truck and go 20' across the porch to get into the house. She has her hands full taking care of him.
Great pic! Wishing him all the best. That’s tough diagnosis. Amazing he has a sense of humor about it.
