Saw that on facebook earlier in the week....I'm gonna try whipping one up too....I have lots of Norway maple rounds that are of perfect size for the project.

I think I would use an air gun and gorilla glue. The air gun prevents the cookies from splitting and the gorilla glue just doesn't seperate.

I'm going to pre-drill small holes from the back and use drywall screws and glue. I figured medium to large sized wreaths would use around 20 cookies, small to medium wreaths will use around 14-16 cookies.

I have another winter firewood project in mind too.....I'll post pics when I try making it....

That's pretty neat. Wonder how it would look with locust... Think this would this work with non-seasoned cookies?

It's funny how we see items like this wreath and think "I can do that" I'm sure most every member at FHC probably could.
My wife saw one of those reindeers made from birch logs yesterday and just looked at me without saying a word. I think they look nice but I'm not sure I want one on my front lawn.
    Cool thread...
