FERRETS FOR HUINTING

    can you in your part of the states, keep Ferrets for hunting we use the for bolting rabbits from holes put them down the rabbit holes. and shoot them when they bolt out, iv been doing it for years.

    Can't say that I've ever heard of it being done in the states, but I have watched it on YouTube. Looks like a fun way to get some rabbit meat.

    Never heard of it but I don't hunt rabbits... unless they are in my veggie garden.

    We usually just run dogs on rabbits. Never heard of using a ferret.

    Here people just keep ferrets as pets. I've seen people walking ferrets wearing little harnesses. We're not big rabbit eaters here. What rabbit we do eat is raised domestically.

    Our most common rabbit is the eastern cotton tail which lives above ground so ferrets would not work around here.

    I remember of hearing about this many moons ago but never knew of anyone who did it. Not sure about the State if they would allow it or not.
