I'm trying to find a good carrying pouch for felling wedges, anyone got any recommendations? I'm kind of a Stihl but $39.95 is too much for too little. I can't seem to find one from Husky and the one at Bailey's has mixed reviews. Thanks!!

May not be an exact fit but do you have any army surplus stores in your area? I have one near me and they have a real good selection of surplus heavy canvas bags in various designs. Was thinking about something like that for mine. Better than bouncing around in the truck. Just a thought.

Was also thinking of a sheath of some sort for my spliting maul. Now that I got a good edge on it.

Got this combo -different pieces at Bailey's & TreeStuff.com in spring 2012.

Leather pouch, nylon pouch, nylon belt with quick release clasp - around $35 for everything if I remember....

Leather pouch contains 100ft tape,1 wood wedge (I make own from white oak, hickory or ironwood/hophornbeam),2 screnches,3 combo flex socket/open end wrenches,2 small carb screwdrivers, extra ear plugs in plastic box,1 Sharpie,2 pieces of stiff wire for cleaning out bar grooves/other tight spots, triangular file for rakers, pair of small Husky tongs.

Nylon pouch contains - 2 wood wedges,scrench,7/32 file with handle.

Works for me..... And there's still space in leather pouch for a granola bar or two, jerky & chewing gum ;)
