    Cut a spruce today by hand.
    G-daughter carried it to the house.


    Love the smell of a fresh cut
    Christmas tree :)

    In the garage letting it thaw & then into the tree stand

    All you can buy around here now is heavily sheared like landscaping yews - nice, but not my idea of traditional.

    Yaa got me, I "clicked" expecting to see some great woodsman "HE MAN" story lol.
    We found & cut our tree last weekend also.

    Nice. We usually cut a tree off our own place but not this year. Why? Last winter was a hard one, especially for the wildlife. Consequently, the deer got so hungry they ruined all the young trees.

    Was a windy day too, was a marginal day to be out there.

    Had to stop 1/2 way thru, touch up the blade with a file.
    Shopping for a grinder for 15" bow saw blades
    & a full chisel spare blade. LOL :)
