I'm always a little jealous of guys that can fish for trout locally. I have to drive several hours to do it. Those look delicious though!

Nice fish wildwest. I drive 4 hrs to get my browns up on Lake Ontario or the lower Niagara River. There is usually decent fishing during the winter months on the river, and outstanding fishing on the lake near shore in the spring. We get some really big monsters on spoons and body baits fishing with relatively light gear. Great fun!

We have some great native trout streams here in the mountains around my home. They don't get real big, but they are bountiful and good eating!

I love cooking them over the fire, using some maple or oak for the flavor.

2 Years ago I fished the Youghiogheny and some of it's feeder streams in Western PA. It was one of the best fishing trips I've had East of the Mississippi!

Way I figure too! I use the "fine china" for a bolonie sandwich or T-bone steak.
