I had off of work starting on 12/20 and go back on 1/6. I probably had a 3-4 cord head start this year as this past spring I got an old (damm near new) Mac 10-10s going that I had for years sitting up in the garage rafters that I got for $50 and decided to cut a little with with it after I split last winter's haul. I was outside cutting/hauling everyday starting on 12/21 until 12/30, minus 12/27, as it was raining that day. My nephew came down by us and was here helping this past Sat, Sun and Monday. This past Saturday my GF came out in the woods and snapped some photos. I thought I'd share.

The end result. You can see my nephew sitting on top of the pile. I'm thinking I have over 15 cords here. I have over 2 cords of just the smaller rounds you see off to the left that are stacked behind the big pile. Those are the non-split ones that I place on top of my stacks after I split/stack what you see in the big pile.

My cutting is done for the winter, now I just have to split/stack........the part I like the least.

Geez, with a pile like that you could have a FHC "north/central" GTG and that whole pile would be split/stacked in just a day or two!
I think I just got a lil sore from just looking at those pics!

Productive days in the woods....looks like a lot was dead/downed trees. Always good to salvage trees from the forest.

So you averaged a lil over a cord a day cutting bucking and piling behind your house?
I take it you didn’t gain the holiday 7 pounds ;)

I was doing well up until Thanksgiving. Since then, I've gained back over 12 lbs! I've quit weighing myself since that achievement. :(
