I'm not a Husky guy so what would be a fair price on this 266 XP.

Found on a local Canadian version of Craig List. Older saw but looks to be in pretty good shape.

    Description
Professional 266 Husqvarna 20 inch bar, new chain, new drive sprocket, excellent saw. it has double dogs.
    Asking $375 (about $280 USD)

Sounds like a good buy to me. If it runs good I'd say go for it. I paid 225 for an older 455 Rancher that has been a great saw.

I just gave $350 for one that appears to be in about same condition. See my post “ how it came to me “ I’d be all over it at that price

That’s got the badge of a 300th Anniversary edition. What’s the tag say for a year.
    Nice looking saw!
I got a 268, Anniversary, looks to be about the same condition. Very nice.
    He was asking 275.

    That's a 400.00 usd saw here.
Those top and clutch covers are getting scarce.
    They run great stock
And you can always get it ported if your interested.
My stumpshot ported 266 about keeps up with my ZCS 372s.
Canadian farm boy CSB made a very nice
    well ported 266/268/272 saw
They are completely different saws than stock.
I'm getting two more from zoo city saws
    A 268 and a 272
60cc size saws in smaller lighter than a 371/372 trim.
