1/3 of a real cord, depends on the time of year, right now 4-5 days

In very cold weather when I'm trying to keep the stove temperatures high, probably almost 2 weeks. Much longer in milder parts of the season when I can let coals burn down gradually and reload less often.

Right now a 1/3 of a cord lasts me about 2 weeks(mostly 20's for highs, teen/single digit lows) I refill my garage rack on the weekends every two weeks and usually have enough left for another day or two.

1/3 cord of what? Not all wood is created equal.

With all of the variables stated above I would say, on average, for a heating season a face cord lasts about2 weeks.

I'd say that's doing pretty well. How many sq ft are you heating?

During the cold of winter, I burn 0.35 cords of mostly ash every two weeks. So, about two weeks!

For me it's primarily white ash with some soft maple and cherry mixed in. I have some smaller splits of iron wood and hickory that I use to fill the gaps when I want to pack it full.

At normal average winter temps for my area, 8 to 10 days.
    Fluctuates + & - , 9 days is an average for Dec & Jan.
(If these -15° temps at night last much longer, I take it all back)

For me it's spruce, took a bunch of trees down for solar gain. Better to burn it for heat than pay to have it taken away. Probably takes 3/4 of a cord of spruce to equal 1/3 cord of good hardwood.

Well, we burn approximately 3 cord per year. In face cord, that would be 9. So, if we figured roughly 6 months or maybe 5 1/2 months of heating, let's say 24 weeks, than a face cord would last an average of 2.67 weeks. This is burning mainly white ash. There will be some soft maple and some oak but very little. Mostly ash.

I burned 1/3 of walnut/ silver maple in October, 1/3 walnut/ash in November, and just finished off 1/3 of walnut/ honey locust so far for December. Last year I burned about 3.5 cord from October-May.

Otherwise like today 1 big split and 2 mediums last me from 10am till 530 house is at 68 to 72 in the fireplace room. My heat...natural gas has been kicking on when its really cold around 4am or so. Just got the gas bill for november14-dec14 and it was $45. with an average temp of 28

Right where I want to be.
I have no idea. Well, I guess I do, so here ya' go.
I burn an average of about 2 "face" cord every month from the last week of Sept. though mid-May or so.
Oct. is a face of pine. Nov., is usually about the same or a bit more of Maple.
Dec. through early March is more like 2-3 each month.
Older stove here, so your mileage will vary.
Somehow or another, it works out to about 5 cord almost every year.
    I know....TMI.

Through the mid winter, about the coldest twelve weeks, I am pretty much with everyone else at 2 weeks average. Shoulder season is the big variable for me for total consumption along with really cold sub zero temps I can blow through wood at an alarming rate.

It would take me about ten days of cold weather to burn a face cord of average firewood.

I can burn a face cord of dry wood in a week but that is pushing the stove pretty hard.
