Face shield work. I've had a strip of bark get pulled off and tossed at my face shield. Hit me so fast I didnt have a chance to react nor did I need to. Just kept on cutting.

Yeah turned out was no big deal but it would have been without that Shield.

Used to wear one back on the old fruit jar tech tree crew. Now I'm looking for one that has a radio built into the muffs. Any suggestions?

Glad you had it on. Stay safe.

I like my vision. I wear safety glasses and my face shield. Sometimes just the glasses, but try to wear both.

That was a pretty good size chunk of wood. No doubt that would have hurt if you had not had face protection.

I don't really like wearing it but I have to protect my ears and the face shield is a bonus.
When it gets hot outside I like to wear just glasses and earplugs I might have to rethink that now

Yeah, it was 3/4" thick splintered on one end, about 8" long I guess
