I have 2 of these suction cup type EZ reachers by Arcoa Industries. One day I was cleaning up my splitting area with one. I picked up a large piece and tossed in onto my nubbins pile and it stripped off one of the suction cups. The suction cup disappeared in the grass never to be seen again. I continued to pick up bits and pieces and I realized it was holding better with out the cup. So I got a couple of machine screws, chucked them in my drill press, and used my dremel tool to grind points on them. Now I can pickup larger stuff as well as small with out bending over.
