I fell asleep with my iPhone 6 Plus in my lap... When I woke up, I stood up only to watch my phone hit concrete. No case yet, had been putting it off. Shattered the screen. $200 to replace it. Got the new phone, the case for it is on the way!

I tried to use the phone with the screen cracked, gave me horrible headaches. For now it resides on the side table until the case gets here.

Electronics, now I remember why I hate them.

Yup, that sucks. I have a older LG. Last summer it slid off my roof when I was working up there. No case, it fell about 12' and landed on the paved driveway. Rear cover flew off, battery flew out and the phone flew about 10' after hitting. Thought the worse and climbed down. Landed on its edge leaving a big gouge but the screen was untouched. Put the battery back in and the cover back on. Fired it up and WOW works like nothing ever happened. I was amazed.....................

Replacing the screen isn't too bad. I've done it twice.

I'm still using the iphone 4. I have a otterbox case for it and it works fairly well. I have had 3 cases for it in 3 years, they wear out but are worth the money to keep the phone safe. I beat the crap out of my phone working construction,, it's always being dropped and stuck into a toolbelt pocket full of tools.

Last summer one of my drivers was following a guy that was talking on his phone and when the guy went to switch the phone from his right hand to his left hand it slipped and went out the drivers window! You guessed it, my driver ran over the phone!!
I have dropped a couple of the flip phones in the minnow tanks at work!

Ouch. Bummer on the bill for that!

I use an I-phone 4s and it is covered with a $40 Ballistic, with hard and soft cover. It is still alive and has seen me through a little work.
