Clearing the last stump where our cabin is gonna go on my vacant property ! Always amazed how Dad's mini excavator can handle big jobs ! This took half throttle... And 30 minutes. Strong lil booger :) image.jpg image.jpg
    All done :) easy ! image.jpg

Fuzz, that little machine is WAY COOL. I'd like to have one, or at least be able to borrow one.

    Nice!
First time I ever saw one was in '10 while helping build a house. One of the guys helping had one and took down the old house with it in less than a day.
    Loaded into dumpsters.
    Awesome little machines.

Fuzz, if not yet decided, stone is the way to go! Shake shingle, slate or standing seam copper for the roof!

Those small excavators perform much bigger than their actual size. Lots of power in those small ones.
I sunk my skid loader last year, real good. Soupy, muddy, mess... Sitting on frame. Family friend came over with his CAT (about the same size as your dads) and pulled my loader out, without the skid loader under power.. Like it was nothing.

Hey thanks !! Im lucky to have easy access to it for sure . All I have to do is do the maint.....fuel it up..and not break it !!
The cabin was suppose to be started last year...but redirections in my personal life (money) have delayed it . Hoping to get the holes dug with the post hole digger....foundation posts in ..and maybe the deck on soon . Depends on when the white stuff decides to fall :) Hoping to have it up by fall of next year...but time will tell ! I will definetly take plenty of pics !

I come from a family of masons....and I grow granite field stones on my property....so there will be some stone work for sure ! Probably not all stone...as I have access to hemlock siding. But....Stone foundation pillars...front porch...and fireplace/stack will be field stone for sure . Oh....and green metal roof . But I may be talked into different upgrades !

No doubt ! That lil thing has done rediculous things . As my Dad would say....its the operator !! With a little time and patients....great things can be done ! My dad pulled my truck out a few years ago...buried in mud and snow to the axles . No prob for it ! Its crazy..only a little 17 hp Kubota engine in there .........but huge hydraulic power . If he ever sells it....Im gonna sag it :)
Even has the variable track width option ! Flick a switch..and you can suck the track width into like 36 inches or something crazy skinny like like that ! Its nice to creep in between trees and not scuff em !!

If times get tough..for sure !! But for now...it will be on my vacant property...where I hope to build in the next 5 years ! We are always out there...........so it will be nice to be able to go inside and relax...cook some soup..or get out of the rain !! Hope fully will get a well popped in ..in the next couple years as well !!
Hope to have a GTG out there after all is done :)
