I wanted to put one on my RTV. I looked everywhere and finally found one on Amazon. When I was a kid every hardware store sold them and every truck had one.

What if your hunting? Can you then? That's really why I put it on. Don't want the pup gnawing on the gun bag.........

Nope, must be in a case at all times and in the furthest point of the vehicle from the driver.

So is Fema region 3 in PA?

Only bad thing on those racks is that they will wear out the finish at the contact point with the rack, for certain.

I have a rack but can only use it by the cabin. Can't keep anything in it near home but it sure gives a message when people notice it. If he has a rack he must have something to put in it...

I used to keep a gun rack in my truck, but my driving is, uh, spirited, and the weight of the guns in turns and over rough terrain kept knocking the racks loose. I even tried epoxy and they still fell over eventually. I ended up just keeping my fishing reels in the gun racks instead.

I noticed the one loosened already. We'll see what happens. I need to add another bolt to it to beef it up, so maybe that will fix the issue.
