I wanted to put one on my RTV. I looked everywhere and finally found one on Amazon. When I was a kid every hardware store sold them and every truck had one.
What if your hunting? Can you then? That's really why I put it on. Don't want the pup gnawing on the gun bag.........
we need to have locks on them ,cases and in trunk , this state is awful in so many ways, i guess i should be grateful there are so many wise people keeping me safe ( we need a sarcasm smiley )
Same dog & pony show up here as well. .................and forget handguns. So restrictive not worth the trouble.
So is Fema region 3 in PA? Only bad thing on those racks is that they will wear out the finish at the contact point with the rack, for certain.
I have a rack but can only use it by the cabin. Can't keep anything in it near home but it sure gives a message when people notice it. If he has a rack he must have something to put in it... KaptJaq
Down to the drug store and pick up some self adhesive Dr. Scholl's mole skin perfect when cut to fit the brackets saves the finish....................
I used to keep a gun rack in my truck, but my driving is, uh, spirited, and the weight of the guns in turns and over rough terrain kept knocking the racks loose. I even tried epoxy and they still fell over eventually. I ended up just keeping my fishing reels in the gun racks instead.
I noticed the one loosened already. We'll see what happens. I need to add another bolt to it to beef it up, so maybe that will fix the issue.
