Hello all. I shut the Europa 75 down today finally. Weather has been seasonal most of winter but the last couple weeks were a bit chilly so I left her running until today. I'll meet up with her again in the fall.

    85 F here this afternoon.

WAAAAAAAAAY TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT, WAAAAAAAAAAAY TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOON for western Oregon.

Tomorrow will be cooler, followed by cooler yet over the weekend and the R word by mid week

Great weather to be trying to get interested in working on a stove

Sitting out on the slab sweating my butt off screwing around with a stove trying to figure things out:thumbs:

Buuuuuuut, beats freezing ones butt off in the cold trying to fix a broken one.

    Strange
The other half went to Vegas for a couple days and it's supposed to rain there Fri Sat Sun

Not fond of the desert myself.

Been to Vegas twice and that's enough for me.

i'm wondering when the last bag will be, but with nighttime temps in the 30's all next week the stove will go on whenever it hits 64 degrees, or we feel cold and give it the ice cube trick. prolly another 4 or 5 bags.

then the trick is to get the stove emptied out for the summer.

My wife took cod out for dinner this morning to defrost.....just looked at it...it's not cod..it's saurcrout...i can't spell it but it sure was funny! :rofl:

We had some nice weather in the 70's for awhile and lows in the 60's already but now my stove is running again. It was down into the 20's the last couple of nights with highs in the 40's. I woke up this morning with a light snow covering the grass. It is 30* outside right now at 7:40 AM.

I usually shut down by tax time each year but will be running mine this year. I'll take it but I am ready for some warmer weather like we have already had. Anyway, it beats the hell out of the last 3-4 super cold and nasty winters I've experienced here the lately. My pellet use this season is less than half of last year so I'll have a few tons of Somersets in stock for this coming fall.

I actually have a job scheduled today so I'll be getting a good taste of the hopefully last cold snap of the season. Gotta run.
