Go to Home Depot and change your store location to Durango Colorado.

    Shipping is $99.

Someone said if the website tries to switch your location go back and remove the stove from your shopping cart and change the store back to Durango Colorado and it worked for them the 2nd time.

The stove is shipped to your house from the factory.

So, is this happening all year now?

    Same here, but Tennessee.

Wow, gonna check tonight, and will jump on it if it works, and if the wife agrees.

Help me work this. I can get discounted giftcards at about 5-6% off, so that takes it down a few bucks. I tried finding 10% coupons or something like that, can't find any. Any other ideas on how to get a little more out of this deal?

Home depot is stingy on coupons. Lowes gives 10% Moving coupons. You can get online from Lowes via email but it takes a couple days. Better bet is to go to post office a pick up a change of address packet, Lowes 10% are almost always in those. And, ask for price match for that coupon since Lowes and Home Depot honor eachothers coupons.

Also, Ebates and Fatwallet both give cash back. I have earned probably $1K over the years using these sites (though our recent remodel/new appliances) was most of it. They deposit it to my paypal account a few months later. Home Depot is usually 1% cashback.

I dont remember the gift cards Clems used, think it may have been an ebay store...... Good details in here The official NC30 , Home Depot Sale thread. | Firewood Hoarders Club

Also I just checked, there is a AMEX card deal at home depot now, have an amex?
Home Depot - Spend $400 or more get $60 back - AMEX Offers YMMV - Expires 10/15/2015

I'll post if something else comes to mind.

I can't use the Lowes coupon trick, as it is an online purchase. I will look at the others. Thanks!

Yes, you'd have to call/chat with customer service and take one's chances.... I don't believe Clems did it either.

Sounds like you better skip looking for coupons for awhile and fix your wife a nice dinner and pickup a nice bouquet of carnations (notice I said carnations as don't want to spend too much from the budget for the stove).

:emb: WWW and I had a discussion about funny fence. At some point someone started to fence a garden area, but was never completed, only 1 of four sides...... For us now, he used the end post to staple cattle wire to as part of the dogs yard. There is an excavator on sight currently, (ahem.....) fence is going away and there will be cattle wire across the whole area, . It will open the view:rofl: . Aaaaah women. Stuff happens.....

But ask Canadian border VT , sometimes wifeys have good ideas  On the other hand, ask yooperdave , sometimes wifeys change their minds, (especially when it comes to a warm house :) )
