20240622_131350.jpg 20240622_131339.jpg I picked up a 355 top handle and am enjoying having a light, easy to maneuver saw! It'll be used 95% of the time for limbing and bucking small stuff. Being left-handed, it is great for cutting the small wood in the saw buck. I feed and hold with my right hand and cut with my left. I am able to buzz up a bunch of 3"-5" logs quickly. I'm not sure how much it weighs, 8-9 lbs? It is very light! I pondered getting the CS-2511T but the smaller engine and the price steered me to this saw. The CS-355T is very easy to one hand!

Perhaps my 4 1/2 saw plan will end up as CS-355T, CS-4600 (the "1/2". It's a great chainsaw, but pukes bar oil), CS-501P (to be acquired), CS-620P (I'm loving this phenomenal 60cc value), and a CS-7310P[W?] (to be acquired). I'll probably get the CS-7310P with a long bar, next.
If anyone is looking for a top handle saw with decent power, fairly light, and a good price point, consider the Echo CS-355T.

Top handles are very handy saws. Ive seen and considered a 2511 myself, but with two already (Stihl 194 & 201) do I really "need" another?

Cut safe and hoard on. :saw: :tree: :dex:

Only have experience with one, one hander. It's an Echo. It's 20+ years old. I still have no reason to purchase another.

I've got the $100 Ebay (Neotec) top handle and it's been a fantastic saw. Happy surprise.

I looked at different Chinese top handles, but the ones I saw were all 25cc. I wanted something a little more powerful. I have a Supmix 60cc saw that was cheap and runs/ cuts great!
