What can you all tell me about my latest acquisition? The chain is beyond shot, but it is complete, runs, and came with the scrench, and a new quart of Husky bar oil. Wasn't free, but mighty close. Do I need it? No, but CAD.....
Looks like they were competing with Husky in the ugliest saw contest, but if cuts good that’s all that matters.
A muffler mod and removal of the carb limiters, so it can be properly tuned, will do wonders for it. I had a cs310 for several years. Its 30.5cc little brother. They are very reliable starters and runners.
I really like Echo saws. I have 3, a 490, 590, and 620. The 590 is modded and will almost keep up with a stock 70cc saw. The 620 has the limiters pulled on the carb, muffler mod is next. 490 is still stock. I really love the old school kill switch and choke on these. I pretty much hate the master control levers on the stihls and Huskys. And with Echo, you turn up that oiler it flat oils that chain.
I have a 352. Very light and dependable little saws, like already said, need muff mod ( including cat removal) and limiters removed. Mine is a little cold natured with the cat removed. I let it warm up 30secs or so and it's good to go.
