I would be mixing that stuff in during the day when I'm going to be able to refill as needed. Also for quick fires to take the chill off. I do what I just described now with the lumber cutoffs I accumulate. It helps stretch the woodpile.
Great shoulder season fuel. I've burned construction lumber cutoffs. Kinda surprising what gets tossed when they stick build a house.
If that were near me it might change my entire look on the whole hoarding experience. I could burn that 27/7.
In Fall and Spring we often have a small fire in the morning and another in the evening. This would be perfect for that. Nice score!
Late to the party. Cant beat that with a stick. Nice find! How much do you burn over the course of a Winter Doug?
Used to love seeing my grandparents when they lived in Decatur. Good memories! How much have you gotten so far dougand3
Haftacut, good you visited Decatur. I haven't gotten any - my woodlot is too full. Tree service work across street is dumping 3-4 cords of maple & hackberry in woodlot now. Bad timing.
Hey neighbor. We've been to Decatur, ate at the famous BBQ place there. We have friends that live in Mentone, close to Ft Payne. His cousin lives in Decatur
Yeah, Big Bob Gibson's is famous. Mentone....home of Alabama's Snow Ski Resort - Like Sky Valley in NE Georgia but more redneck. Yuk yuk
