I grabbed a quick load of alder and hemlock this afternoon. With so many trees down from the snow, the hard part is deciding which ones to take. Everything I got was easy to cut and right in that easy handling size. I'll be back soon.

Beautiful area to cut in and easy access to trees. I just might call that heaven.

Back to the same spot today for another load of alder and hemlock. The truck was showing this load.
I had a pair of alders stand themselves back up when I still had a good 7ft of the trunks to go. Usually they give a little warning. This one didn't. 20220322_142623.jpg 20220322_155512.jpg 20220322_214613.jpg 20220322_150134.jpg

It looks like your area gets that thick underbrush like ours does, making it hard to get off into the bush.
