Well hope everyone had a great weekend. We decided to have my wife's family over for brunch today.

My wife is a fantastic cook and really goes all out with the spread. Was a beautiful day here and all ate very well.

A sausage frittata with a hashbrown crust

Table spread. Did a smoked 7lb whole salmon, a waffle casserole (blueberries cream cheese over banana waffles), makhlama lahm (iraqi eggs with lamb) deviled eggs, salad, and a dessert pie.

    So stuffed and full

Oh almost forgot the bloody mary bar (highlight was stone crab claws)

Now that is a great looking spread! I love Salmon but the crab claws really caught my eye.
I don't want to take anything away from the thread but I need to more about the wine bottle lighting.

Oh thats fine. I cut the wine bottles with a wet tile saw, sanded and then sprayed them with frosting spray. Then bought just the pendant lights and track lighting. Pain in the butt was I had to take apart each pendant light head thread it through the necks and rewire it to plug it into the track.

Oh and I cut them different lengths to alternate heights. Was a birthday present to my wife. She drank the wine as contribution.

Now that's a Easter brunch you any resturant can be proud of.... Food looks fabulous, flowers, view of the woods.... Great entertaining spot for sure.... Love the wine bottle drop lights too.

Just need a big fire in the fireplace/stove to set things right.
