I hope everyone is doing well and staying warm
    Any damage?
    Flooding?
    Power on?
    How much snow or rain?
Have you seen any potential wood scrounging yet?

Drove around today and didn’t see one tree blown over. We had some high winds for sure (high 50s gusts). Power went out for about 30 seconds but came back on. Kieth (from another forum) lives about 1.5-2 hours east had 2 big ones blow over and has no power. My yard has standing water, it’s a mess. We need a few weeks with no rain!

My part of Long Island had a crap load of branches down, scrounged a bunch from my yard and am burning in my fireplace as we speak.
Glad we didn’t lose power. Friends by us lost power for a few hours and that was about it by me.

I refuse to like that post!!
We had 2” more than average last month. Of course I’d rather have this than the alternative. :headbang:

I drove around a bit today, didn't see anything down except pine branches. No power out, and the wind dried up everything overnight, so it was like it never happened. Big mess at the seacoast, though. And Western MA, Vermont, and upstate NY got mega snow.
The weather people are being cagey about the storm midweek, all they are saying is that it will stall here for a couple few days.

We got 12" wet heavy chit and high winds but nothing out of the ordinary for here.
The saturated ground and wind cause some uproots and a few short term power outs. Pretty typical for spring here.
This storm came straight out of the north . I had an inch or better of solid ice on my front door when I left for work

We got over 30” of snow! I got stuck in the driveway coming home from work, my wife helped get that out with the tractor. My nephew got stuck in his driveway 9pm last night and I drove my tractor 4 miles round trip to get him out. This morning my neighbor got his plow truck stuck so I pulled him out. My driveway is still a mess but it will be there tomorrow. My compact tractor with the chains and front mount snowplow sure came through for me! I think my plow truck would have gotten stuck. No power outage here, thankfully.

It’s a nightmare because there is no frost in the ground, if you start to spin your tires you just dig a big hole and then you are hung up on the snow. If I couldn’t get the tractor to move I’d take the plow lower it face down into the ground and push myself back, it worked every time.

As stated in a different thread, power went out briefly on Thurs evening, but came back on and surprisingly stayed on all night.

Lot's of shoveling and plowing the past 2 days. Had to plow out more of the driveway and front yard today (Puppa Pooping area) as I'm getting 2 face cord of wood delivered tomorrow AM.

Took a walk with the dog this afternoon, and of course the pines took the brunt of the damage, many branches broken off or hanging.
There was an ash tree that was a leaner and I was gonna get at this summer, well.. it's not a leaner anymore.

Gonna be quite a few days of cleanup when I can finally get around the property with the ATV and cart. It's winter.. I'm not surprised at all.o_O

Storm was pretty much a non-event in New Hampshire - a little wind and rain but I havent seen any new trees down and we had very few power outages (I work for power company). We were ready to go but ended up not being a big event for us.

I think some of the previous ice-storms may have "helped"...a lot of the weaker branches/trees came down previously in those storms.

Massachusetts on the other hand got it good!
