I bought it, my insurance company checked to make sure there hadn’t been one in the previous year. $5 a year.
Thank you so much.I'm getting it.The quakes are moving closer to the U.S.. First they were overseas.then Haiti, then P.R.now small ones in New Hampshire. It looks like a big one is due here anytime.
The Ring of Fire quakes aren't "moving" anywhere any time soon. When there is an earthquake in New England it is due to the geological tectonics that make up New England. Earthquakes have always historically happened in "clusters" - periods of activity and inactivity. The media makes money story-telling about news and boring inactivity is snooze, not news. Insurance is usually worth having though. Although even life insurance isn't for everybody.
I have it but I'd have to look at my paperwork to see what it costs. I remember when I was getting insurance lined up after buying my house, my agent tried to talk me out of it because it's expensive. I'm in earthquake country and replied "so is a damaged foundation."
