Early Morning Splitting

    Temps here are around 50* here but last night got down to about 20* so I wanted to get some splitting done early while the ground was still frozen. Plus all the snow is melting so its mostly a muddy mess. I started with the rounds lined up.

    Boxelder maple is some cool looking stuff.

    It took about 20 minutes. I also split about 10 more rounds too but I didn't get a picture of them. Its all cottonwood one log was boxelder. I know its shoulder season wood but I like burning softwood/ hardwood mix.
