Odd looking graph.......but since it's making almost 2 full HP more at 11,000 RPM.......I'll take it and be proud.

    Randy,

Is that the typical graph for your MasterMinded 046's?

I like what looks to be a pretty effective powerband from 9k all the way up to 11k. That saw has a big "happy place". :smoke:

    Nice!!

Over 12,000 RPM you are not gonna be in wood anyway. So that doesn't even mean much....

The 8,000-11,000 is more Meat and Potato :dex:

I believe that nosedive in the graph is due to the corn can muffler burning out.

Use a spaghetti-o's can the next time, you cheap bastard. :p

Im pretty proud of this saw Randy ported for me! Thanks Randy. The saw will pretty much live with a Sugihara 24" bar with Oregon ck semi skip square chisel. Cant wait to get it home and in wood. 2hp gain??? Who wouldnt be proud of it?

This is a much better place to discuss the saw.......and the odd check mark at the end of the dyno run Keith.

What have you and Chad decided to do? A different coil?

I sent Chad an email........asking him to come here to continue the discussion. I've been pretty sick the last few days......and my patience level is very low.

There are members here with far more common sense......
