I've got wood to cut and can't get out to do it. I've got the saws ready to go and cleaned chains sharpened splitter fueled up and ready the tractor ready Grrrrr im going nuts here seeing all the pics of everyone else cutting.
Sounds like you are ready to go. That is the important thing. Nothing worse than having a great day to cut...and having to spend 1/2 of it getting ready
Well the getting ready part was my way of dealing with not being able to get out to cut. It occupied my mind some. I've either had to work and can't go or the weather stopped me almost made it out the other day and here come the wind. I had trees that I was going to cut down but not in that kind of wind. I have the kids this weekend the wife works and I won't fall any trees with them around even if they a real safe distance away. I guess it distracts me trying to watch the tree and still make certain they are where they supposed to be
We don't like messing up our woods either so when it is too wet we walk in with a cart and saws and cut. Come back to load and such when it is fit. May take a little more effort but you're still getting something done. Take your lunch along so you only have one trip.
I hear ya rat in sittin here in a foot cast and can't do squat its been in the 40-50s here and it can't go outside that sucks.
I know what ya mean, with my work schedule weekends are the only time I have to cut at least til the time changes, and the weather has not been on my side, it's just been too wet and muddy here to get into the woods. I'm sitting here with a brand new saw and it's just killing me not to be able to use it yet.
Dang prell that's no fun. Wouldn't be a good day to go out. Wet, cold, windy--good day to sit by the wood burner and have a few
