I have a pair of these 5105s I've been toying with to try to get a set of numbers ironed out. Been in and out if these several times as i just couldnt quite get them where i wanted! But I'm getting close!

    Stock numbers:
    Exhaust-110
    Trans-130
    Intake-70
    Comp-195
    Squish-.030"

Here was my first attempt. Wasn't happy with this but I did get pretty good gains.
    105/125/78. .020" from base .010 from squish

And like I said I have 2 of these and I'm down to fine tuning. I have 1 of them at 103/123/76 .025" from base-.015 from squish.
But the one in the vid well its here's it's little formula
104/125/80. .030 from base-.020 from squish. It's really close to free porting. 5° timing advance 220 comp after 1 tank of fuel! I like this one!

Just a few pics as I was a slacker to come. And sorry about not having an initial vid. I jacked up and deleted it!

I may try some different mods on the next saw but this 2nd saw is running really good so I'm gonna leave it be.

If this one dosnt sell before I get time I will try and do a 500p echo, 5105 dolmar, 656 solo comparisson vid. I just happen to have all of those and there all ported. Lol. If i really get time may try to sneak a monkeyed 2153 into the mix!

    Carl,

Just a thought. Maybe talk with Randy @TermiteBuffet (Zoo City Sawz) about these. He has done one for me, and some others.

    Carl,

I don't know if he is over here. Have you posted this thread elsewhere?

Found it. It looks like you have this model well in hand, Carl. However, Randy may have some insight to share anyway.

That wood looks to be about as hard as a Woodpeckers lips.

    Very impressive results, Carl.
