Anybody else try it? I did, mostly because a bunch of friends liked it on Facebook.

I stay overnight in a hotel 2x/week for work, and I shave my head and moderately heavy beard in the shower there. Not my water and electricity

I tried the four and six blade versions, and both were marginal when brand new, so I cancelled. I can get 4-6 weeks of easy shaves out of a single Schick hydro 5.

I do like the shave butter.

I've always had better luck going with fewer blade, less pulling and skin irritation.

I shave my head every morning and can get about 3 weeks out of a Gillette Mach 5 cartridge. I guess that's not too bad but I feel like crap whenever I drop $45 on razor blades. I looked into the Dollar Shave Club but saw too many reviews of blades that were grabby so I decided not to try them out.

Last month I did pull out my safety razor and tried shaving my head. That's what I used to use when I shaved my face because the blades are SO much cheaper and with practice I could get a closer shave than with the Mach 5. I've cut my head several times starting out, but I think I'm going to keep using the safety razor. $20 in blades will last me a couple years. I bought a $25 non fog mirror for the shower which helps too as shaving blind with the safety razor was tough.

If I go too long without shaving, I think my skin gets a bit tender/sensitive. And then when I finally shave., it looks like a roman blood bath!

I use a safety razor, haven't changed the blade in almost two years. Of course, that's about when I decided to let the beard grow.

I go months on a razor, so no interest here. I use throwaway double blades, and last bought a package more than 5 years ago. I am not much of a man I guess ...

Rather, you are lucky that you do not have to spend alot of money on blades.
